Nearby the Market Place, the museum is Housed in the Grade 1 listed 17th Cloth Hall and the Grade 2C listed Granary. These wonderful buildings are full of objects from the surrounding area.

  • Civil War and local trades.
  • Balloning has been a well supported leisure pursuit in the area for some years and the museum houses a display from the British Balloning Museum and library to highlight the local pioneers of hot air ballooning.
